You can record iPhone gameplay safely without jailbreaking or modifying system settings by using the iPhone Recorder feature of Aqua Demo. This method uses wireless screen mirroring, so you do not need to install risky apps or change your device's security settings. Open Aqua Demo and change Video Recorder to Phone Recorder mode. After that, choose iOS Recorder, then open the Screen Mirroring feature on your iPhone and choose the Aqua Demo connection. Make sure that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network to successfully connect to each other. Once the screen appears on your computer, you can start recording gameplay normally while keeping your device settings unchanged.

Your iPhone gameplay recording may miss game sound if the correct audio source was not enabled before recording or if the app blocks internal audio capture. Before starting, make sure the iPhone is properly connected to Aqua Demo through the iPhone Recorder mode and that the system audio option is enabled in the recorder settings. To record iPhone gameplay with microphone commentary, first make sure your iPhone gameplay is successfully screen-mirrored into Aqua Demo using the iPhone Recorder mode. Once the game screen appears on your computer, look at the bottom part of the interface and open the Settings section. After that, click the Recording Content dropdown menu and tick the Speaker setting box. Then choose the Screen, Phone Microphone, and PC Speaker options so both gameplay audio and your voice commentary are captured during recording. You can also select your PC’s default microphone device if you prefer using an external microphone or headset for clearer voice recording.

Delays, lags, or stutters during iPhone gameplay recordings can occur due to unstable Wi-Fi, high recording resolution, or limited computer performance. Since the iPhone is mirrored to Aqua Demo before recording, a weak connection between devices can also cause delayed or choppy video. To reduce lag, ensure both devices are on a stable Wi-Fi network and close unnecessary background apps. Lower resolutions like 480×216 or 960×434 work well for low- to mid-range PCs, while 1280×578 or 720p-level resolution can still run smoothly on stronger setups. Higher options like 1080p to 4K or device resolution may look sharper, but can cause stuttering if the system or network cannot handle the load. A short test recording is also recommended to check stability before long sessions.
